This is my latest project. Helen’s new garden rides a slope that we’ll be terracing next year. For now, she’s more than pleased with the new installation.
We were able to convert a boring rectangular plot of lawn into something magical with the help of gorgeous cedar veggie boxes (I didn’t make these ones, but can), the brilliant vision of Randi Lee, and Helen’s own gardening prowess.
This area of the garden is my favourite. We mounded the bed, which offered a new dimension of depth to contrast with the flatness of the patio and to make the garden more eyecatching.
Then a wonderful splash of teal to set off the cedar beds and draw the eye to the potted fig in the centre…
